Clement co-founded Inception Capital Management Ltd. in 2018 with a former colleague, Ryan Beechinor, who retired from his role as COO at Grosvenor Americas in 2016.
Currently Inception has 4 residential development projects – a 27-unit townhouse development on W45th Avenue and Cambie Street Vancouver, a 54-unit apartment building with over 9,000 SF of commercial space on Kingsway Vancouver, a 40+ unit rental apartment building on W32 nd Avenue and Cambie Vancouver, and a 3-unit single family subdivision in West Vancouver. Total value of these projects are estimated to exceed $200 million.
Clement is also a founding member and president of Providus Mortgage Investment Corporation (PMIC) and Providus Management Ltd. since 2007. PMIC is a private lending entity specialises in mortgages for multi-family and mixed use developments in Metro Vancouver.
Prior to 2007, Clement spent 11 years with the Grosvenor Group in senior management positions working in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vancouver, Washington State, and California. Grosvenor is a private multi-billion dollar property company with head office in the UK.
Clement holds an Honours Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) from the University of Waterloo, Ontario; 3 diplomas from the University of British Columbia in Urban Land Economics, Real Estate Appraisal and Mortgage Brokerage; and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Cambridge, UK. Clement is a licensed mortgage broker registered with BCFSA.
The founder of PMIC and Inception Capital brings extensive experience in real estate financing and development, overseeing multi-million dollar projects across Canada and Asia. He hold degrees and licenses in real estate and finance.
